Since its a slow day, I figured I'd start the thread. I will keep a list of the dates that CLM brides are getting married (as we do with the official date thread).

As was said, i think this will be a good thread as we get closer to the dates and have questions about CLM.

No they haven't changed the rug as of two weeks ago and haven't added the bar yet. I think they are doing it more in Jan/Feb when its slow for them only because they are having holiday parties there now.

When i went to put my depo down they did have a few workers working on the ceiling and fixing up some of the molding.

I am actually working on making a links guide to CLM if you want to wait about 20 mins i should have it up

in the upstairs room? that will be done by november, my friend is getting married there and they said it will be done

My min for upstairs was 65 but that was a sunday nigh and a semi holiday (palm sunday) but i hear its typically that or 75. Funny thing is they can fit close to 175 in that room so my 90-100 guests will be comfty.

I'm confused about cake options I don't know why but so many people had cakes from other places than what was included. Does anyone know why? And btw which bakeries are the ones that CLM uses?

CLM uses Black forest bakery in lindenhurst

I'll most likely use them. I have never had any cake from there though. However, my friend is getting married October 08 at the Riviera and they use Black Forest too.. So they've been getting cakes there for every occasion since theyve booked their hall and they love their cakes.

I use them for every occasion i am actually going there at the end of april to do my birthday cake order but i am doing it a twist this year. I want mini cakes made up with var. flavors and icing choices (don't really care how much $$ as long as its not a complete fortune) to figure out what i want for the wedding.

I have to say black forest is really really good but if your big time picky ask them to make yuo a cake and see how you like it.. the most is $20 and you weed them out if you don't like them.
