For the girls getting married there, what are you doing to the gazebo? I have no idea yet because what happens if it rains than what is going to happen to those decorations? I don't want to spend on something that I'm not going to use. I need advice...

The Out door Ceremonies are always pending the weather. However I am usaing the chapel Rain or Shine because I just prefer the look of an indoor ceremony for what I want and the possibility of a windy day or birds flying around bugs me..lol.

we are probably going to book Adlib. They are CLM's house vendor for a steel drum band. My friend used them in 2006 and they are amazing. I really like them because they have a lot of players and it looks so awesome!

Sorry to crash this board, but I just had my wedding at CLM 8-8-09 & thought some info & pics to be useful. We had our wedding upstairs in the Bayview room on a Sat night. We had uplighting but only used 1 color & had a monogram/gobo for our dance floor. We did high/low centerpieces & it looked fantastic! I thought we would need chair covers, but to be honest with you - the chairs & the fabric look so nice - that it almost didnt make any sense to pay extra money for chair covers & sashes. We did the boat ride/yacht arrival & our guests are still talking about how it was the most unique & coolest way they have ever seen a bride & groom enter their reception! We also sprung the extra $$ for the Viennese hour - pics are in my proofs - it was worth every penny. We also did our pics at Venetian Shores - literally 3-4 min away from CLM (these pics are in proofs as well).

We went with house photographer: Patken
Florist: Flowers by Burton
Band: The Naked Truth
DOC: Gina Griffin from Bleu Diamond Events
Lighting: Prestige Events Lighting

Our main color was palm beach coral w/ accents of turquoise & our theme was a beach theme wedding.

When doing anything with the managers there @ CLM -deal ONLY w/Nick or Tino. I've only dealt w/Lou once - not the most chipper guy. If you can - request Jerry for bartending & Jessica as a bridal attendant - both went above & beyond for us & our guests!

Hey ladies a few questions, maybe some of you know:

How many months prior should we start calling for the cake?

How many months prior should we be making a final menu decision? I know what I want but I just want to know a time when it has to be final by.

Where are you thinking about putting votive candles? Just the cake table?

We had votives at the cake table & our table (B&G table) - HTH!

We did a beach theme. That or the tropical might work well for you since you are getting married at end of May...
