crashing...you can get round tables - they offered to supply them to me. i was going to do some round, some oval but then decided against it cuz it didnt go with the flow of the room. honestly, the ovals were great cuz you have more flexibility . it was so easy to do the table settings.

Thanks for the info on the round tables. You are probably right in that the oval tables go with the room better, since it is a long room.

I was just thinking the same thing, I don't no what colors they have... i saw they have ivory tablecloths on a 2010 brides pictures, and they looked pretty, what are your colors!??!
the linens they have are ivory with like a floral embroidery on them. they are new and pretty but they just don't go with what i need.
our BM dresses are plum and our personal flowers are purples and whites. our CPs are all white and i want the table all black and white. we are using black and white damask print on our invites, menus, favor cards, and table numbers so i want more black on the table. then we are going to have an icey/crystal purple uplighting around the room.
what about you?
Also - so annoying that the tables are oval bc that means it will prob be harder to find oval tablecloths and prob more money too ugh!
My girls dresses are plum too!!! My flowers/cp will be purples, whites, ivories, and green. so i am praying that the new ivory linens will be ok. bc im not even sure what color i will do my menu's in or...or the napkin colors i want too...ugg so much to freakn do!!!! I really hope they are ok, bc i really don't wanna have to use another vendor and have to worry about another thing
That will be really great though if you can have round tables...it will make life so much easier if you have to use an outside vendor for the tablecloths, but ur colors sound soo pretty!!! hopefully u can get the round tables!

i'm doing plum BM dresses too!!! but im incorporating gold, so i think i'm probably gonna stick with the ivory linens that the woodlands has bc i think it'll tie in nicely, but jackie, your description of how you want the room to look sounds so beautiful
as far as the round vs oval tables, im sure you'd be able to find oval linens? idk bc i haven't looked into it, but i think you'd be able to....i kinda like the oval tables bc i think its easier to talk to the ppl your sitting with
does anyone know the colors they have for napkins?

Welcome Maria!
I am using Denise from Modern Wedding Photography. She is a photojournalist, but on the expensive side.
I know a lot of girls on here use Duet.

Hi! Thanks! I already looked at Sherwood Triart and i spoke to ******** photography who are The Woodlands receommended vendors, and they are on the expensive side too. I am trying to find someone who is less expensive and that I love, but thats not going so well. I really want someone who knows The Woodlands well and can really utilize how beautiful it is there.

We're using Duet. Each and everyone one of their photogs have shot at The Woodlands.
Sherwood's work is amazing too but I know they are $500-$1000+ more for a similar package.
HTH!

in your case i think the ivory will go perfect then with the plum and gold so you are set girlfriend
i think the room will look nicer and fill the room better with the oval tables since it is a rectangular room so i am probably going to keep them - plus i think their round tables seat less people so that means more CP and more $$$...so no
i've heard they have LOTS of napkin colors - pretty much any color you want. i haven't gone to see them yet though.

What are you girls doing for CP? All low, all high or half and half? What do you think goes best in the room?

we're doing all high CP as IMO, the room calls for it
i am obsesssssssed with Jeff Leatham and his designs so my CP have lots of tipping callas, hydrangeas, and orchids. i have some pics of the tipping in my flower inspiration album.
they are going to be all white bc we are doing uplighting and i feel that the natural colors of the flowers will be lost in the lighting. plus, all white is always classic and elegant. and we are adding a modern twist with the design.
what about everyone else???

I was originally going to do all low, but I agree that the room is long and could probably use high CP. All low CPs may get lost in the room, IMO. I think I may do half and half. I also want to use lots of candles. I haven't booked my florist yet.

half and half will be gorgeous too and definitely give the room a lot of dimension and texture
i booked with marion at bayview florist and montage - she is beyond unbelievable. we are so happy we are going with them and i highly recommend them!

those are good points!!! prob much easier to just stick with the oval! CPs are enough $$$ as it is!
