I had my engagement dinner(finally) with our close friends n it was great!! We had a nice amount of people n everything turned out ok....
Today I'm looking for chair sashes and table runners, also other little things!!

I'm feeling really good about booking Raphael Gordon and ordering my invitations. Then I look at what's left to do and I get completely overwhelmed! I don't want a bootleg wedding but this is a lot of money to shell out in 6 months. I keep remembering people I left off my invite list but I'm well over my 150 person budget. I'm waiting for a proposal from the florist and I still need to book the limos and the photographer. I met with Duet yesterday and meeting with 12th night tonight. I hope 12th night is much cheaper because if not I might have to take some drastic measures to pull the money together for Duet. Those women who are planning and paying for their dream wedding are so fortunate. They make it look so simple on Whose wedding is it anyway?
Just needed to vent.... thanks for listening.

We are in the boat with you - There are so many things that I want to include in the wedding but we have been smart about it - We want a house - nice furniture and to take vacations year after year - Try not to stress and take things one at a time - You still have time - We are here for you

we are planning to do the same since 99% of our guest are coming from Brooklyn, and both our ceremony and reception are being held in LI. We found a few companies that want $1000 to pickup our guests in brooklyn, take them to the church, and from the church to the RH, and finally back to brooklyn. Let me know if you find a really affordable company, and i will do the same...

It is slow right now. I am now putting my guest list on a spreadsheet with the address. Next month I will busy looking at different vendors. June 9 and June 23
