What are all the April brides doing with wedding planning? I wanted to take a break from it for a little but there is too much to do. I just keep thinking of all that has to be done...lol
we went to look at limos yesterday. and i still need to decide what i am doing about my dress!
this is what i have done so far....
RH Church (still need to do precana though) DJ Photo/video STD's sent my ring ordered ordering FH's ring today narrowed down BM dress choices Got my dress....might get a different one though (i have a possible one in mind) Picked possible invites (ordered a sample) Limo (almost booked)
we wont do flowers till after we finalize BM dresses bc i want all the colors to coordinate.
i think that is it. what else???? i feel like we have a lot of the mahor things done (except my dress! which is killing me!!) but i know there are like 6867983749872 million little things to do!!!

well, I'm doing everything on a really tight budget, so I am thinking of the North Shore Home Owners Association Clubhouse in Rocky Point. Then I have to also do the catering

I know how you feel. Like I said I feel like I got all the major things done and I want to take a break but I keep thinking of all that has to be done and its less than a year away.
This is what I have done:
RH Church (Still have to do pre-cana classes, which I have to send the money to the church.) DJ Photo/Video Limo Dress BM dresses are picked out. I have to order them. STD's are ordered. I have to send them out.
Thats it so far.

True true!!! that's a good idea! I loved doing all the little thngs, but I'm a really crafty person, so that was so much fun! I hate talking to people on the ohone so that's why I don't have the big things done....I don't want to call and make appointments. My MOH is ready to start calling poeple fpr me!

Yeah but you will still save money with catering. That is a good idea.
I know I found some really cheap places that are only like $32 a head, but that is still WAY over my budget.

i think i would feel much better if only i knew what i was doing about my dress! my problem is that i dont have a lot of free time to go look at dresses (and i have to coordinate it with my mom) bc i dont want to go alone. this week is already booked with other things....so i am hoping to go and look again next week. or next weekend.

I have the same problem, and it just keeps getting worse...the summer weekends are almost full already, and me and my mom work seperate hours. thats why I have only tried on my dress once

i'm right there with you! i have pretty much all of the big things out of the way. so far we have:
-the RH -the church -the photographer & videographer -our limo -BM dresses picked out just haven't ordered them yet -STDs have been sent out -the florist
the next big thing i have to do is get my dress.

yeah, catering can get $$ we had thought about doing that also, since my dad is good friends with people who own a deli (but they make all sorts of food). and he would have given us a really good price. but then adding all the alcohol to that, and possibly doing a coctail hour, with a site fee, it prob would have been too much. there has to be places out there that will cater for less than that? are you doing a sit down dinner or buffett style? i would think buffett style would be less.

That will be a lot easier when you have to send out the invites. I know I am not looking forward to filling out the address labels. It is going to take forever.
