Ok, maybe $1000 more, but that is pretty close to it....come on...a Sunday, in February on Leap Year Day. Vendors were extra specially nice to me.

Re: Official Budget Thread
We are in the 40k range. I know this is bad, but I stopped keeping track! If there is something I REALLY want, and it's reasonable, I'll get it. Not going crazy though.

I'm with NSGRAHM. $16,000 for 120 people. We are doing it Kosher, but not glatt.

Re: Official Budget Thread
I think what sent me over my budget was my hall, about 16k. But I really loved the place!
There's only the BM, MOH, FG and RB in the bridal party, so I should be saving money there. And I am not decorating the ceremony, but I am still getting quotes of 1500 for 11 centerpeices, 2 bo-ks, and parents corsages. I feel like all these florists are screwing me over.
Maybe it's the time of year. August is a busy time for wedding I guess. But mine is on a Friday, and most vendors have that slot wide open.
Are your girls negotiating prices?

Re: Official Budget Thread
Originally our budget was 40K and I trimmed it to $36K for approx 200 people. That includes all tips, rings, complete honeymoon and every other little thing I could think of -- from wedding insurance to ring pillows to the garter to STDs to FH's passport fee!!
The only thing it doesn't include is clothes shopping for the HM and spending money on the HM.
So far we are on target.
ETA: We have 8 GMs, 9 BMs 2 FGs and 2 RBs

Re: Official Budget Thread
We're hoping to keep it at 40K for 125 people, but we will more than likely have more people, so we're looking at closer to 50K

Re: Official Budget Thread
Before I started doing research I thought that we could keep it at 25K. But I quickly realized that wasn't possible based on what I wanted. So we are closer to 35K

I'm thinking of hopefully $40,000 for everything with 250 guests.

Re: Official Budget Thread
I had originally planned on 25k but quickly realised that I couldn't pull it off with what I wanted. So my revised, more realistic budgetis $35k for approximately 80-100 guests. And that includes absolutely EVERYTHING. I can do it, I know I can( or at least that is what I am telling myself)

It's do-able! I don't know how you feel about complete packages but I see them advertised all the time for the Holiday Inn! I think it is a complete package for 100 people for 10K. Check the Brentwood Country Club and Holbrook Country Club also. You might also want to try renting a site and bringing in your own caterer. You can also do a lot yourself like flowers and centerpeices.
