Did your florist say they will set up your candles even though you didn't buy them from them? I have been going back and forth with Giorgio's and my florist to see what I can do about this. I really want these votives to go around my center piece it needs it.

What if we bought our own CP's and not going through the florist?
I would call and ask first I don't want to see you get hit with any surprises. It is not fun adding another thing to your list to do when you already have a done of things to do for your wedding. I don't what I am going to do about this. I want votives around my center piece.

So... Giorgio's does NOT supply the votives? OK, need to inform my florist of this. She thought that maybe they would be provided. And if anyone finds more info about the lobby renovations, please post for us! Thanks!

OK, so it's official... FH dropped off a check the other week and they did indeed renovate the lobby! I can't wait to see it! FH said they widened the staircase and it curves at the bottom. And something about porcelain floors... but that's just him describing it. Anyone else see?

Georgio's piano player?
Has anyone heard Georgio's house piano player? (Daniel Costanzo) The weekend I was in NY to hear him play he called out so I ended up missing him. I live in AZ and need to book a piano player soon for our 4 hours brunch wedding but I'm not comfortable doing so without hearing him play.
He quoted $500 for 4 hours of continuous playing.

Benzione- you mean for the tables? I think they may have one for the lobby table or something but probably not for guest tables.
Piano player- haven't heard him personally but I have no doubt he's great. That place only wants to be affiliated with the best.

Oh and the votives...I DIY'd my CP's and they were a little hesitant but they were over 1' so it was ok.
