I am getting hitched @ Giorgios's on April 11, 2009 !! Oh and about hotel rooms, I blocked rooms at Holiday Inn Express. They have a special deal with Giorgio's guests where if you book 15 rooms they will make sure all of your guests are taken to and from the reception! They normally just provide you with one 14 passenger shuttle..

Hey! Dumb question.
Does Giorgio's provide any votives, either as part of the package or upon request? (Raphael puts out lots of votives for every wedding)
I wanted some on my tables and wasn't sure if I need to provide them myself or have the florist bring them.

I didn't know this either. My wedding is in a month and a half. I am going there in Dec for a meeting so I will ask them then or I may even call sooner.

I am definitrely anxious because I would like to know what's going on with the lobby....... because I want to use that STAIRCASE FOR PICTU'RES.... andalso I fouind out that there is an afternoon wedding on the day of my evening wedding... and that I can go down to the beach beforehand but can't get into giorgio's until 530.... im just praying that it's not too cold of a day and we really CAN TAKE PICS at the beach !! AHHHH

Do not buy votives on your buy them threw your florist. I am having promblems with this right. Fh and I bought votives on a wedding website and Giorgio's said that my florist has to bring them in for insurnce reasons and then either Giorgio's or my florist can sent them up but my florist didn't like this at all. Now the florist won't use the ones my fh and I bought they said we should cancel the order and buy the votives threw them which is more money. We paid $30 for 72 votives (which included the candle and the glass holder). My florist votives cost $1 each which would mean $72 for 72 votives. I am trying to see if Giorgio's will work something out with fh and I so that we can use the votives we bought. If not I don't know what we are going to do.

What if we bought our own CP's and not going through the florist?

I remember Dawn telling me this as well, that the florist has to set candles up. If you have your own CP's and you drop them off, maybe Giorgio's can do it?
