My FH and I were just there they put in new carpets. It looks really nice. We are going to the bridal show next week too. We decided it is just going to be him and I this time since the last time we brought our mothers and we were being pulled every which way so now this time we can enjoy everything on our own. I am looking forward to it . We had fun when we brought our mothers and they enjoyed going with us. It was a very nice time.We just want to go together this time and enjoy everything.

YAY for new carpets! Are they still the same/similar color? I thought I heard Giorgio Sr. say they were getting new place settings also. Wonder if they are in yet...

I'm getting married there, too!! July 5th 2008!! We can't wait. It is so beautiful there. We are going to the expo next week, too. :)

My FH & I just booked Giorgio's last week! We are so excited, the tasting was awesome! There's going to be another expo in November, we didn't make the July one but we will definitely be making the next expo!

Yessss! I am so glad there is a thread for Giorgio's! I am getting married 6/21/08! I have only heard wonderful things about the food/staff/etc and am so excited!

My only worry is how much time it will take to do pictures...because I want to do the gardens, golf course, beach, etc! We extended our cocktail hour to 1 1/2 hours and hopefully we can make it for a few bites!

I booked this past December and my date is Aug. 15, 2009.

I can't wait for the showcase on Feb. 24th!!!

FH and I looked at about 15 RHs. Giorgio's was actually our first but we had nothing to compare it to. At the end of our RH search we sat down and compared Giorgio's with the runner-up RH and we felt that Giorgio's offered so much more. Everything is perfect for us.. the size of the room and dance floor, the chandeliers, the outdoor area and view, the beach for pics, and the enormous amount of food. I'm so happy with our choice

Hey DNJ0809....what was your other top choice? We looked at 7 other places..all with water views but when we compared ball rooms/menus/etc...Giorgio's won! They offer so much more for cocktail hour than any other place! Plus their ballroom is quite spectacular! I am so excited about it! I hope to meet you at the Showcase...have you heard if there are any giveaways?

Our other choice was Land's End. But, our guarantee is 150 and their minimum for a Saturday night was too high for us. Giorgio's minimum was 150 so it was perfect. Not to mention everything else was perfect for us too.

Not sure about the giveaways at the showcase. I'm pretty much just going to taste the food and see what vendors they have there before I start booking any, although I have a few in mind.

The cakes were pretty basic we got a square cake with pink flowers on it. They only gave us like 3 choices of cakes not sure if you can get more but weren't not too picky with that but she said we could work with the bakery if we wanted to.

The tables are round and they give you a choice of colored linen but we just went with the ivory

I can't beleive I only have a month left till my day but I know that I wont have to worry about anything with Giorgio's cause they seem to have everything in order!!
