I just want to say at the meeting last night they were so easy to work with, they have been so great through this whole process never once did I get a bad feeling from them. I can't beleive I only have a month left till my day but I know that I wont have to worry about anything with Giorgio's cause they seem to have everything in order!!

YAY I can't wait for your wedding and your pics!!!!

It so close I still can't believe it!!!

CAKE QUESTION

I am a traditional person and would like a tiered wedding cake with the columns that separate each layer. I am also not a fan of fondant and would like whipped cream. Do you think Giorgio's would be able to do that?

They gave us the option of whipped topping or butter cream and they didn't show us any of the cakes you like but I think they will do anything you want but they might charge a little extra..I'm not sure about that though.

Are you guys going to the showcase???? Is the showcase just for cocktail hour or sit down dinner too?

Former Brides....how long did it take to do you photos at Giorgio's? That is the only thing I am stressing about!!! CH is 1 1/2 hours so we should be ok!

Also when do you select the menu and try cakes?

I never did a tasting I don't know if they offer it but I was ok with not doing it. We just picked our menu & cake. They call you about 6 weeks before to pick your menu & cakes & go over all the details

Are any of you Giorgio brides getting married in a church around Giorgio's. I'm not too familiar with the area. I was wondering if the churches are strict about marry couples not members of the church.
Where are your OOT guests staying? Are there any houses available to rent out there.

There are hotels out there....Holiday Inn and Best Western...plus they are opening a Hilton Garden Inn. If you need to block rooms....do it soon! they go fast with all the wineries out there!

I'm sure there are houses in that area that you could rent maybe check craigs list, we are using the best western they gave us the best rate and they have a restaurant and a bar in there which I liked for our guests

We are using the best western in riverhead for our Giorgio's wedding in November. The bar is going to stay open for us from Midnight-2am for a little after party for all our guests. I think it is like $200 and it will be a cash bar.

That's a great idea, I can't do that thought b.c. we will be leaving for our HM early the next morning.

We specifically decided to leave for our honeymoon on Sunday instead of Saturday (Friday wedding) so we didnt have to worry about staying up late the night of wedding! Now we can party all night long!

That's funny because we specifically decided to leave right after because we both wanted to get out of here as fast as we could. We're not going away until then so neither one of us want to delay it!!

I am doing the same thing with the Best Western. I plan on only having a little champagne at the wedding and doing all my real drinking at the bar afterwards.
