Official Honeymoon Check!!!!

He just booked his trip he qualified for through work and its official...

We're going to Maui!!! So excited!

Definitely buy the book Maui Revealed, it's amazingly helpful.

we're staying at the four seasons too!

i stayed there for seven winters growing up. its my favorite place on earth.

the 3 restaurants at the hotel are amazing. the brunch is the greatest thing in the universe, ferraro by the pool is AWESOME for lunch and a casual dinner. spago is of course unreal.

i know all the restaurants. some good ones: nick's fishmarket, sorrento's, those 2 stick in my mind but i'll ask my siblings to remind me others. my bro and SIL did their HM there last summer too. i can definitely give you any and all info i have!

we only did the 'touristy' stuff my first year (like 10 years ago, more i think) and then just spent our time hanging out by the pool/beach because wailea beach is amazing and the hotel is the most relaxing place on earth!

You will LOVE Maui. It is such an amazing place.

My suggestions:

Road to Hana -- So beautiful. On the way back we ate at Mama's Fish House. A definite must while you are there!!!

Old Lahaina Luau- I didnt love the food, but the drinks were yummy and it's just something you need to do while you are there. FH liked the food alot.

Trilogy Snorkle Tour- We took an all day trip on a Trilogy boat. It took us to Lanaii for snorkeling, lunch etc. Was one of the best excurions while we were there.

Whaler's Village in Lahaina - Great shopping and dining. My favorites were Hula Grill and Leilani's,

Haleakala - Wish we could have gone for sunrise...but we didnt. I hear great reviews.

Wineries - If you are into wine, Fh and I enjoyed visiting some of the off the beaten path wineries.

we're staying on maui, cant remember the name of the hotel....we're def doing Old Lahaina Luau. and this might be a dumb question but...what is the road to hana???
