I'd like to leave because my boss (FMIL - lucky me) is being ultra annoying. She doesn't remember anything anymore! I'm am constantly on edge here and I'd like to rip her vocal cords out.
Also, the G2G is tonight and I need to pack for New Orleans first so I can drink and be merry. When I drink too much and you ask me about work, I do an excellent representation of FMIL. It's hilarious... at least it is to me.

I need to leave so I can convince FH to go to the G2G tonight.
I just found out that he's kinda/sorta making me go to the Yankees game on Sunday (I despise the Yanks) so that may be the bargaining chip I needed! (He doesn't need to know that I'm secretly excited about trying the soy dogs at the stadium and that's the REAL reason I agreed to go)
