For the June brides looking for a band... I went the The Knot wedding show at the Four Seasons on Sunday and I heard a FANTASTIC band... Soul Street. They are part of Total Entertainment. They were a 12 piece band which is probably a lot of $$$ but you may be able to get less pieces... I think though the sound with all 12 was amazing. I already booked a DJ but if you are looking for a band.. they were GREAT... and i usually hate bands. Its worth a shot.

Hi everyone i was wondering if anyone has seen a good band/d.j. combo. we've looked at a few and they are either way expensive or not what we are looking for. Any suggestions?

June 2nd @ the Swan Club here ! ! !

So far we only have the church, RH and DJ. We have 3 photo/video appts. next week and will hopefully like one of them enough to book.

I'm taking things slow, but not to slow.

Hello everyone i'm getting married June 23rd at the Woodbury Country club. I'm so excited but also a little upset, we booked the location and florist and have appointments set up tomorrow for a D.J. and Photographer. The planning is going by so fast!!

Try not to get too overwhelmed. You still have plenty of time to plan as quickly or as slowly as you want. FH and I booked the hall, church and photographer/video pretty quickly but now we have been taking a break for a while. Go at your own pace and CONGRATULATIONS!

This is so funny, The Vanderbuilt mansion was one of our top 3 choices, and my date is 6/23/2007!!!

yea you'll go through perios where you will do so much and then sit still for a bit and then back...i did alot the first two months we got engaged and then slacked off another two months..so not i am back on the ball!!!

What photographers were you thinking of going to?

Ceremony music and trumpeteers: Kings Brass

Planning is sooo fun, but stressful already-can't wait to see what I am going to be like next year at this time

I got mine already, but that was because we postponed the wedding.... it just came in, i got it from Burtons. I would not suggest ordering it just yet for the rest of you as it is a little early and if the place does not have storeage (as in my case) you will need to find a place to store it.

I am a June bride. June 1, 2007. I haven't done much planning at all. Only have the hall. I keep thinking it is so far away to plan anything else. I am definitely going to start making appointments soon. I know it will go by so fast. I did go try dresses on 1 time already though. That was a lot of fun.
