Official June '07 Brides Thread

Hi Girls I am getting married June 23,2007.

I am so excited we have our own thread.

I booked Jo Von as my photographer last week. I think Danacm80 said her hall recommended them. Definitely check them out the blew me away after visiting with a few others.

Anyone know how much bands want as a deposit to book?

Hello Date Twin!!
Im getting married June 23, 2007

My band wanted a $1500 deposit to book

I booked the church, band, photo/video - taking a small break , and then gonna book flowers and limo.

Hey! Another June bride here.

My next step is to look for a florist. Any idea of where i can get flower CHEAP? They're really not that big of a priority in my opinion and I don't want to spend a lot of $$.

My date twin. That deposit is not to bad. I was thinking I needed a lot more. Now I have to start looking.

I booked Oasis - an italian/american band - what bands are you looking into?

Has any 07 June Bride gotten their wedding gown yet? I am so excited to start looking!!!

Yeah, I was thinking this summer I'll start looking for a dress. Hopefully by then I'll have shed ten pounds!

JUNE 8th too......only things I've booked are reception & flowers...but flowers I knew before I even got engaged...so i guess that doesn't count...haha

Still need a Photographer, which I've been putting off because I do photography and wish I could just do it myself!

...and need a DJ...just music...nothing else

I feel like a slacker

Reception is on site...always wanted to get married by the water! The whole photography thing started as a hobby...i am a graphic artist by trade...i do beach scenes and stuff like that..and realized people will buy my work....you could always try selling at local art shows and stuff...you never know!!! It is fun shooting...Love your screen name

Oh cool thanks. I have no idea what bands to look at. I guess I will send a post out asking for referrals. Does your company have other bands? My family is Italian as well.

Haven't started looking yet. I promised my sister (MOH) that I would wait until she moved back to LI to start looking - So it's looking like we will start this summer

Why did everyone pick the month of June to get married?


I picked it because I didnt think it would be too hot like July and it was safer to get June because I thought May might have a chance of showers

Plus the grass is green and the flowers are in full bloom...how beautiful!!! not to mention the date was available at my RH!!!!

Oasis does not have other bands. ..
If you are interested in italian/american bands - I can recommend a couple ... if you want just american, I've heard of some from the boards - im happy to help you if you want.
