Hey... Lilpie .. your e-party pics are really nice! Looks like you all had a great time! My next stop in the planning is photographers... I made a list of a few I'd like to start with. I also signed up for Pre-cana at the church...we'll be doing that in january or february '06. I also just finished my 'will you be my bridesmaid?' cards. Haven't sent them out yet though. I've been reading about Save the dates.. I wasn't planning on sending any but maybe i should.. at least to the people who i def will be inviting. When are you all sending them out? I was thinking if i send them i would make it more of a holiday card type of thing but wait until right after thanksgiving in 2006 to send them out. Do you think that is too late? that would be about 7 months in advance. How is everyone elses planning going??

Hi Danacm - My next step is booking a photographer too. We are going to look this October. Which photographers do you plan on looking at? I definitely want to book an appt with Duet, I heard great things about them. I was also looking into ADA, Proline and two other vendors on this site that I forgot the names of. I want a photographer that does both traditional and photojournalism shots. We have to do pre-cana too. I have no idea when we are going to set up a date. My FH is in med school and has a crazy schedule. You never know when he has to go in, so hopefully we find out when he has a break and do pre-cana then.

I gave STD magnets as favors at my e-party. Everyone loved them. I don't think it's ever too early to send them out but I think it would be a great idea to send it with a holiday card!

I think I'm going to book a DJ and video before the end of the year too. I'm pretty sure I want to book with Tommy Tunes. Not sure about video yet. How about you?

I was planning on looking first at the photographers that the Carltun recommended.... Marquee, Creative Compositions & JoVon. I also want to look at Duet and Imagine. Perceptions also looked nice. And I'm also looking to book both the photographer and video together w/ the same company. I'll probably make some appts for next week and continue week after week until we find something we like for a decent price. I heard Tommy Tunes is great!! My mom went to a ton of weddings with them and said they were awesome. Depending on how fast we book the photographer , i'll then start with dj's but as of now my plan is to start Dj's after Christmas.

Which Carltun are you getting married at? I'm getting married at Carltun on The Park in June 2007. So excited-just signed the contract yesterday.

And just FYI- Creative Compositions did my brother and sister's bas mitz vah's and the pictures/albums were great.

Yeah.. Carltun on the Park... in eisenhower park!!! I love it there... Finally another bride is getting married there.. who is your BM? I had Tiffany... she was really nice. The day we booked, my FI and I took our parents to the Sunday brunch they have at the Palm Court Restaurant... I HIGHLY recommend it!!! It was so yummY!! What else have you planned so far?

Not only are we date twins - but we are in the same boat! We are waiting until 2007 because I will be finishing up law school and taking the bar this summer. I thought it would be difficult to plan while one of us was still in school. - I hope the days fly by!!
