Official Lands End thread?

I got married at Lands End on July 17th. They did an amazing job. I will post a full review later, but you can check out some of my pics through my photo album on here (not sure how to do a direct link). It rained the morning of unfortunately, so I didn't have my ceremony outside. But the sky cleared up afterward to have the cocktail hour outside and take pictures. I got my professional pics back as well - will post soon.

Leslie, you look absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your pictures. Any chance you will post a'mini-review' before you post your official review? On Friday I took my FI and my parents to see Lands End and it is really one of my favorite places so far.

Thank you so much! I will try and post a review soon. We are moving into another apartment this week, so once we get settled, I will scan some of my professional pics on and provide more information about Lands End. What I can tell you about them right now is that they are extremely professional and they truly know what they are doing. The food was excellent and the place itself is just gorgeous, no matter what time of year you get married. Even though DH and I didn't actually get to eat much (we were continually running around greeting guests or taking pictures), we always had food on our plates and drinks in hand. Anything we personally didn't finish food-wise they packed up for us at the end of the night and we ate later in the evening. Oh, and the wedding cake was unbelievable! Guests continually use the word 'classy' to describe my wedding, which I love because that's exactly what we were aiming for. I have to give Lands End some of the credit for that because it truly is a classy place. And as far as the cost is concerned, it wasn't outrageously priced (we had a Sunday afternoon wedding) and I really believe we got our money's worth and then-some. I hope this helps for now. Will post more information later.

I'm sure April will come sooner than I can imagine! We started a Land's End thread on the '06 Board as well. You can definitely check it out and join in if you want. '06 girls are super friendly. So far there are only two '06 Land's End girls and that includes me!

I booked lands end also and I met with Jennifer. She was a sweet heart. She showed me and my parents the whole place. She explained what the ceremony will look like if it's nice out and if it rains. She also had some albums to look through of other weddings. It looks really beautiful. I'm really excited to have my wedding there and i know you'll love it too.

yea I met with Jennifer Barnett! She was great!!!!I love it there..one of the girls on the 06 board is having her wedding this saturday 5/5/06. I cant wait for her to come back with reviews and pics!!
