Official Land's End Thread

This is a mouthful:
Hoping to be a Land's End Bride in '07. I have not seen the place personally (bc I live in VA) but from what I have researched on LIweddings and learned from various friends and family who have attended weddings there, I will definately be happy. Once I hear back from Jennifer (at Land's End), I would like to move forward and book my date (as they are quickly filling up) and send her a deposit. We have not discussed the next step of making a deposit, etc with Jennifer because we wanted to take the time this weekend to really make a decision and decide for sure if we were going to book a place 'sight unseen' (even though my parents have gone there and taken pics for us).

Does anyone know what their deposit policy is (i.e. %, cashier's check, deposit refund, etc) because FH and I are not going to be on LI until the end of September and would like to send it in asap.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

I can't remember what we did, but you definitely can not go wrong with an April wedding at Land's End.!

I promise you that I will write a full review. We aren't going on our honeymoon right away so I am sure I will get it done quickly.

I just got married there on the 4th. Everything you hear about them is true. They are amazing. The BA and MD were unbelievable!!! Everyone said how gorgeous the place was. I wish I could do the day over again. I would recommend Lands End to everyone!!!!!

Let's see pics!!!!

I just booked Lands End last week!!! I am so excited and I just can't hide it! I'm about to lose control but I think I like it! Woo hoo!!!

Jennifer Barnett told me that Keyth from Lovin' Oven can hang paper lanterns from the ballroom ceiling over the dance floor!!! I can't wait to see pics of it! We're having a smallish wedding for Lands End (150 min) so the ballrom might look a little empty. The paper lanterns may fill it just enough!! I was leaning towards other 'more popular' florists, but I may book Keyth just b/c of that!

YAY!!!!

Remember, just because they are the 'more popular' florists, doesn't mean they are better than the other ones out there, and there are a ton. (just my advice: JMA).
