I know...I'm so upset I never expected drama like this to happen. I just feel betrayed!!! This was someone I trusted and came with me to pick out BM dresses and my dress.

Re: Official Latina Brides Thread

It's coming. Trying to book my photographer I'm so torned on who to go with. I also want to start looking into florists and DJ's. Besides that my STD's are on their way to me so I should have them out by the end of this coming week.

Re: Official Latina Brides Thread

I wish I would've done STD's. But I felt like everything has been rushed so far. I was upset to find out my invitations will be coming in the first week of march This means I will be sending it out a month before my wedding. I'm so pissed off. I don't want to be getting RSVP cards come April. Besides that things have been running smoothly. I met with all the vendors and am good to go!

Re: Official Latina Brides Thread

Hello Ladies,

Nice to find this thread. My name is JoAnn my Dad is from Puerto Rican/ decent and my FH is Dominican. I can't say I'm going to incorporate anything from my culture because I guess we have all become so americanized I have no clue what the weddings are like in PR. Any boricua brides with ideas? I would love to honor my heritage & customs!! I know about the mantilla but I'm 25 and already have children so that's out of the question

Hi Brides
Im Cate and i had the same question as Jackie. We need a DJ or band that can play Salsa, Bachata, Merengue reggaeton and ALL types of american music. Everyone in my family are musicians and my FH is dominican and we love to dance, so music is important!
Any reviews, suggestions greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Hello, I'm using Ultimate Sound DJ's they cater to all nationalities. They are having a showcase this thursday in Dante's in Queens/Jackson Heights at 8pm. Frank the owner is really great and i'm sure will cater to all your needs. They have bilingual MC's.

Re: Official Latina Brides Thread

Hi Everyone,

I'm newly engaged as well. I'm 50% Spanish and 50% Ecuadorian. My FH is 100% Spanish.

We are looking for a bilingual DJ/Band that knows how to transition in and out of Spanish/English music well. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Congrats and welcome!!
I recommend Elegancia Entertainment. I looked at quite a few dj's, I think they're in a class of their own. The name suits them.
