As you can see - I am absolutely bored and procrastinating from doing work - so I made of list of past and future NRC brides so we can all know where to get info, reviews, opinions and pictures from. Hope this helps everyone! I am sure I missed some past brides and some future brides - I'll still look for more though...
my parents just went Saturday to pick up maps for the invites and Jennie told them March 19th at 4pm or Wednesday in April (not sure of exact date)...

Umm, I feel stupid but I will ask. By tasting what do they mean? Is this for NRC brides only?
Does that we will never get to the taste the food again? Aren't we supposed to taste when we plan the menu...

I called them last nite and they said they were having a small event in April for tastings. You should call a sales rep and inquire if you are interested.

i was just there monday night and they gave me a couple of dates---one in march and april 28th. i might wait till the wedding gets closer.
also, they redid the entire lobby area. when you walk in, they moved the 'couches' up a little and moved the piano into the cockatil hour room. they built this whole reception area--it was done tastefully, it just took me by surprise a little. they have all shelves going up the wall too. it's nice--just not thrilled that they took the window away. it closes it in a little. o well, the place is still amazing!!

I'm a North Ritz bride too! We are getting married on Friday, 10/29. I was there yesterday to drop off a check and I got to see the lobby area completed. It is very nice, and now there is a receptionist there to greet people - which I really like. It does make the lobby look different though. I was also concerned because I don't want them to be doing construction during my wedding! George assured me that that would never happen. I wonder what else they might change? I love the North Ritz!

yeah the gold chairs. i am having all white centerpieces, so the chair covers might be too overwhelming.

I was there a few weeks ago for a band showcase and I think they had the gold-wooden-backed chairs in both the cocktail hour room and the reception room. (I like those chairs - I don't think I would do chair covers over them). I might do different tablecloths though... I guess I have awhile to decide!
