Where are you having it? We live in Hudson valley - right outside of New Paltz.
In Hopewell Junction. Our caterer (Bridge Creek Catering) is located in New Paltz. I really love that area and had been considering Locust Tree as our venue, but decided against it. Why did you choose Long Island?
DH & I grew up on LI and have only been upstate 5 years now. We honestly couldnt think of another place to have our wedding but LI.

For what it's worth I had 'civil' ceremony in Vegas, religious ceremony and reception on LI, and second reception in San Fran.
