Luckily I'm borrowing my veil from my FSIL but I've heard that Barrons in the Tri County flea market has good prices and selection.

Thanks - I will check them out this weekend.

Yes, barron's has a huge selection and great prices. i was really picky about what i wanted and i was able to get both my tiara and veil there for less than other places wanted for each separately! definitely worth the trip!

Silly question - what is everyone doing for placecards? Are you just doing what the hall gives you or ordering some and handwriting the names or making your own. It's such a small thing but it's all I've been thinking about today.

Hi girls....

I got placecards for 35 cents each to match my invites! I just have to figure out who will do calligraphy on them for me as I imagine I won't have the table seating done until a week or so before.

My friend did her own and they came out so pretty. She bought the sheets of them on 81/2 x 11 paper from Staples or Michaels and she just printed them herself. She used that script font in Microsoft Word and they looked perfect. She then glued a small leaf that she used a leaf hole puncher on pretty fall colored papers...they were in the upper right hand corners. Looked so pretty...the cards just tear apart once you print them out.

I'll try to attach a pic of my placecards.

I'm actually attaching the placecard to the top of my favor box. I was concerned there would be confusion about my favors (1 per couple or person) and wasn't sure how to arrange them on each table, so thought this was a good solution.

Im using the ones that come in sheets that you can put thru the printer, I bought them at Target, very simple, but i like them.

Haven't even thought of seating yet. No one better put their two cents in about that one.

My BM's dresses came in! I want to go see them now. I also just dropped off my invite list to my FSIL so she can start the calligraphy - I'll probably get the invites out in the nex tweek or two.

Had my 2nd hair trial last night and LOVED it. I loved my first one too with a half up half down style but I think I'm better off with an updo. It looked so elegant and now I don't have to worry about my hair blowing in my face when I take pics since I'll be on the beach. Oh, and my shoes came in.

This weekend I want to look for hair pins and FG dresses. What about everyone else?

Glad your hair trial went well!!! This weekend im hoping to finish printing my invite envelopes......so tedious, but exciting, i think invites make it feel so 'real'
