Hey Ladies!!!! Good morning!!!

I got my groomsmen gifts in yesterday, and my fixed reception cards!!!

I love checking things off my list!

I also finished my Bathroom Baskets, and Petal (well, I'm using leaves) Baskets...

I can't believe it's only 2 1/2 months until the wedding!!!

Oh.... and the invites will be going out this weekend!!!!!!

Yay! You got alot accomplished. I know what you mean about checking things off the list. Our cardbox arrived yesterday. I LOVE it! The pic doesn't do it justice.

Just got my invites in the mail yesterday!!! Now I have to put them together!

Mine are out already and people are receiving them. So strange but exciting

Another update--some good, some bad.

The good: My gown is in!! Will do my first fitting in 2 weeks

The bad: My room block at the hotel is out of rooms and the 3 other hotels in the area are booked too. I finally reserved more rooms at the Red Roof Inn, but all my invites are sealed already so we'll have to call people and let them know.

Mine too! My brother's wedding is this weekend so I thought it was the right thing to do to wait until after his is over. They are all stuffed and sealed except for the last 15--need more hotel cards!

I can't believe we're all mailing invites!

Last weekend I finished printing the envelopes.
This weekend I'm stuffing them.
Labor Day Weekend I'm checking to make sure we didn't miss anyone.
Sept 9th weekend - mailing them!

I went to post office to get the stamps... 87cents. so each invite needs 2 stamps since there's no 87 cent stamp - and they were very much resistant to the hand-cancelling idea. So i called my uncle (who works a different post office) and I'm dropping them off with him and he'll personally get them hand-stamped!!!!

Up next - Bathroom Baskets!!!

My sister just called to say she got her invite and I got so excited and had one of those holy sh!t - this is really happening moments!

I hear ya...I'm nervous too. Don't love being the center of attention either. Mine is in 2 weeks!

I LOVE your runner - It came out great!

Oh my gosh girls I can't believe our invites are going out for November Time is flying by too fast!

I have not done anything for the wedding the past 2 weeks. I am going to try to get a lot accomplished this weekend, but with working 2 jobs (40 hours at each job), finding time is very hard. Oh well, it has to get done!

Congrats to all you ladies that got a lot accomplished within the past week. Sounds like you are all doing so well.

Where did you block rooms?

My sister came up to me last night and told me that I had to add more stuff to my registry because everything was bought and people were asking her and my mom what to get me. I can't not believe that everything was bought. Our family and friends are being WAY too generous! I love them all (not only for this reason!)!!!!! I was so excited . And the things that people are buying us off our registry are engagement gifts (people are stilling giving us engagement presents every weekend), not even bridal shower gifts. So they bought everything off our registry and it was just for our engagement! Sorry to go on and on, but I am so happy with how generous both of our family and friends are being to FH & I. We both feel SO loved and this wedding is just so amazing!

Yea for you..isn't it the best thing when you realize how much you are loved and how happy people are for you guys....

It gets better..the shower is so overwhelming but you really get how great everyone is.....

I just sent my invites and have been nothing but getting calls on the.so exciting....

Girls I am really excited about this weekend!!!!!!! I think there are showers in the forecast for tomorrow! I overheard my FMIL talking about it a couple of months ago and I don't think the date changed since then.

We are also looking at RD places this weekend and hoping to finish the DIY invites too with the help of some of my bridesmaids. Mailing on Monday - fingers crossed!

And my birthday is Tuesday!
