Invites went out this morning! Post office will hand cancel the first 50 envelopes for free, but charged me $.05/envelope after that. Nothing in the city is free.....
Dress is in also, but I haven't yet scheduled my first fitting. I'm thinking in a week and a half.

finalized flowers this weekend got BP gifts first fitting is in 2 weeks saw the girls dresses also (so happy they look good )

I did most of mine yesterday and was going to send them out since there's just a few addresses I'm waiting on. Do you think I should wait or get them out?

I actually have 15 more to send out too because I ran out of direction cards. I decided to just get them out. I'll bring in the last 15 tomorrow. They are HEAVY! I truly don't think I could have carried 15 more!!! I wanted to get them out.

I'm waiting on a few addresses too but the rest are ready to go out!! Maybe I'll just send what I have as well.
I'm sooooo happy this part is over - NOT an invitation fan!!! This weekend we are picking out wedding bands, tuxedos and starting on programs!

That's wonderful! I'm sorry they charge you to hand cancel. Why do they do that in NYC but not LI? Things are really coming along for all of us November ladies!

How was your brother's wedding?
Wedding was so nice! Thanks for remembering! They got married in CT, so most people won't know their vendors. Their photographer was great and the reception hall was really nice. The weather was not great, but at least the weather held up on saturday.

I haven't done much wedding stuff lately but I feel like I need to get on the ball. My invites should be arriving in the mail within the next week. My shower is Sept 9th so I am going to use family that night and the next day to help me stuff...so hope to mail my invites out by Sept. 15th.
Just ordered my RD invites.
Picked up yarmulkes and ketubah over the weekend.
This weekend we plan to: Purchase FH's wedding band (have mine already) Go check out tuxes Book a limo (I just need 1 for a 20 min ride)
I also need to start shopping for my shoes and undergarments.
I still have not figured out favors....I feel like every wedding I go to lately I get no favor. I'm wondering if I need to do anything at all. I was thinking of just putting a basket on a table by the door on the way out filled with little baggies of cookies or some sort of treat for their rides home. I have to see.

my invites are going out this week! i have to leave work early to take FH to the oral surgeon--he cracked his tooth at the bachelor party and they have to pull it---of course its right in the front on the top! he made it super clear that he had to have it fixed by november, so i think everything should be okay.....

I also finished my DIY pocketfold invites and plan to post pics tomorrow. I mailed them yesterday...all but 25 of them that I am finalizing addresses/number of guests.
We also went looking at RD places. I can't believe it's all becoming so real!

Did anyone make the photo money card box? If so, about how long did it take to make? I was planning on doing it but I don't know if I should have started this a few months ago.
