Hi Girls,

Wanted to check in to see if everyone had a good weekend. We picked out our wedding bands, finalized our cp's with the florist and started working on our programs.

We finalized our flowers too. I'm working on the timeline for the day right now and will be deciding on the menus next week. So much to get done...so little time...

That's too funny! You said it!!!

Had my shower Saturday. I was so spoiled! Everyone was so generous. I had so much fun. I also tried to have my first fitting last week but the seamstress told me to come back when I lose all the weight I wanted to because she didn't want to mess with the beading on the dress too much. I've lost about 10 lbs and maybe wanted to lose another 5. If I don't it's no big deal but now I don't go for my first fitting until 3 weeks before the wedding Is that OK?

I made the final payment on the honeymoon yesterday and also got all the stuff for the bathroom basket at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Just a few more things to cross off the list...

I had my shower Sat too! So much fun. I think you will be fine with the fitting. They will just have to make sure they get the alterations done right away so you can have a second fitting. My second is only 10 days before the wedding.

ladies i'm in shock, i mailed invites friday, friends called to say they got them saturday, and to compliment them which made me very happy,
today i had 6 rsvps already that was insane, but i started talking to myself at the mailbox, like 'oh my god, i can't believe it, how exciting' good thing no neighbors were around!!

I just had my first fitting! It was so nerve wracking--I had no idea how it would look since we took the top from one gown and the bottom from another. It looked amazing and I'm so happy with it. It all seems so close now!!!

Glad you liked it Heather! I just made my first fitting appt for Oct. 7th...can't wait to see the dress again! Now I just have to get shoes and a bra!

Just got back from a mini-vaca in Scottsdale, AZ...it was so beautiful and hot there. Now back to the wedding planning...about to start stuffing invites! Want to get them mailed out soon.

Hey Ladies! I haven't been around in a while. Things just seem to be getting busier in the areas of life where I need them to calm down so I can finish planning! Our favor boxes finally arrived so I can start putting those together. For those of you who want to do slipper baskets, I highly recommend Mysisterusa.com. I called them, told them what I needed, and the slippers were here...the next day! I couldn't believe it! Very reasonable price, too. Got a call from EastWind to do our menu. I can't believe September is almost over already! What is everyone else up to?

Oh that's good to hear!!! I'm ordering some today - I think I'm going to pick them up because they are located near me. Did you get all black or different colors? I went for my first dress fitting last night. All went well but I do have one question on veils. I think I may have 2. One for the church and one for the reception. Does you guys plan on wearing a veil during the reception???

YAY - Mine too!!! They just went out today! How exciting.

Most likely I'm wearing my veil the whole time.

I feel like I should be getting stuff done for the wedding and I haven't done anything lately. I really need to stop being so lazy.

For all the final appt. with vendors - have they called you or are you calling them. I haven't heard from anyone yet.
