Hey ladies!!!! Things have been really crazy here lately....

FH and I went to see a house the other day and really liked it! We are putting an offer on it tomorrow... I wasn't expecting to do this before the wedding, but it just sort of happened... I was watching a house and the price came down, and hopefull (fingers Crossed) things work out ok.... I'm so nervous, scared confused, dizzy and all around crazed... I'm literally going nuts and I haven't slept more than 5 hours in the passed 2 days... I still have some wedding things to do, but mainly I'm almost done!!!!

I had my first fitting today....I'm so in love with my dress!!! I didn't want to take it off.
Also picked out a veil no problem...I was worried about that but I explained what I wanted (very simple) and they brought exactly what I had in mind right to me. Very easy!
2nd fitting isn't until Nov. 2nd...can't believe I have to wait that long to see my dress again

I have pics but I've never posted a pic of myself on these boards...never know who's out there watching/reading. Maybe I'll post a pic on this thread where only the Nov. girls are probably looking...I have to upload them first.

OK...here are 2 pics where you can't even see me that great! Don't mind all the wrinkles on the dress...obviously they will steam it!
2nd pic is how the dress will look bustled...also the sash I have on in the pic is not the color I'll be wearing...my sash will be a goldish champagne color.

ETA: OOPS...pics were too big. Will have to resize tomorrow...

hey girls...
wanted to see how everyone is doing. My wedding is in 4 weeks i cant believe it. I just finished up with most things. have a few last minute details. Got my honeymoon plan tickets in the mail today, had my first fitting, finalized the menu today,. Just have to get brial party gifts monday. and finish programs and menus. i cant believe it am almost a Mrs. thats crazy!!

I got some more stuff done this weekend besides my fitting. Bought my BM's really nice pashminas at a street fair yesterday...only $5 each! Just something extra to throw in with their gifts. Also got our readers and ketubah signers gifts and part of our best men gifts.

I am not feeling too stressed...I sort of feel like all I have left to do is meet with people (RH, florist, priest, etc.) and do my program inserts. Then just little things like buy stuff for bathroom baskets...just have to give that to my florist b/c she puts those together for me and brings them there.

I can't believe I only have 47 days to go! AGH. You early Nov. girls have less than a month...how does it feel???

A little nauseating...just so much to still get done!

26 days is nothing--I could take a nap and have the wedding be here already!!!

I finally finished my out of town bags (except I'm going to add apples to all of them when it gets a little closer). What do you all think?
Edited--pics too big--trying again: Now it's really tiny but the design on the cards is a border of leaves changing color.

Heather - they look so pretty from what I can see!!! What did you put in them? I only need to make a few bags - honestly maybe only 5. Clueless on what to put in them.

Those are so cute! I need to still find out where my relatives are staying. Only a few are at the hotels chosen by FH and I for the blocked rooms.

This may have already been asked but what are you ladies putting in the OOT bags? I'm thinking the following:

Bottle of water
Granola Bar
Goldfish Crackers
Lighthouse magnet (cheesy?)
Tanger Outlet Map
Chocolate

YAY! I am so happy that you love your dress! I would love to see your dress if you can get the pics to resize. That is great that you were able to find a veil without having to go crazy and shop around. Congrats!!!!!

This is what is going in our OOT bags:
2 Bottles of Water
Mini Bottle of Advil
Lots of Chocolate
Bag of Pretzels
Bag of Popcorn
2 Bagels with Butter for the Morning
Package of Coffee for the morning
Map of the area and places to see
Brochures from certain restaurants in the area

I might add to it or change it a little bit, but for now this is what we are doing.

You guys are going all out! We put in:

candy
gum
bottle of water
welcome note
note about shuttle transportation
apples (to be added)
and my personal fave--'fall in love' votive candles and personalized matchboxes

This is so off topic but it's making me laugh...just had to share with you girls. I keep getting FM's from girls saying they love the pic of me and FH in my avatar....

It cracks me up b/c I write back and tell them 'I WISH that was a pic of me and FH' - god I wish those were my legs! It's just a pic of Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn! haha!!!
People actually think it's us! I like them as a couple and saw that pic online and just loved it...like I said I'm not into putting pics of myself all over this site b/c who knows who's reading it. Anyway no one writes me back when I tell them that...so they either feel dumb for thinking it was me or they think I am crazy for having that picture. Anyway - that's all - just gave me a good laugh after I just got my 5th or 6th FM about it

Now that I just said I don't like posting pics of myself (which I'm sure will change after the big day....I'll try and write a review and post some pics then) on here....I'm going to go and resize those pics of my fitting now...just for this thread though!

OK trying again to post 2 pics from my 1st fitting. Please don't mind the wrinkles! And I'm wearing a sash (I am not wearing it in one of these pics...it sort of makes the dress in my opinion). But the sash in this picture is not the right color - was just trying it on to see - mine wasn't in yet. Mine is lighter than the one on the model...I'll post that pic too. My sash is more of a goldish champagne. All my BM's are in choc brown with champagne sashes too - so we'll all tie together with the sash.
The dress has a small train....although I don't have a pic of it. The 2nd pic is how the dress will look when bustled.....I LOVE the bustle!

I love your dress. It is absolutely stunning! The bustle is beautiful!!!!!
