OFFICIAL November 06 thread

The next thing I have to take care of is the flowers. We are just doing two arrangements for the church, a centerpiece for our dais at the hall and the bouquets, that's why I waited a little on this task... Our hall has been nice enough to let us use their CP's (Silk tall arrangements) they look just as good as the real thing. I am going to try to make an appt. this week to get squared away.

Anyone feel like they're at a stand still right now. I feel like I don't have a lot to do. Invitaions I'll do in May but I already know what I want. I know the favors I want but won't get them until Sept/Oct. Everything major is booked besides hair/makeup which I'm waiting until May to start. Everyone seems so stressed lately and I'm the furtherst thing from it. The most I'm stressing about is what color to paint our bedroom and if I should go lighter or darker with my highlights..

We just finished with the major vendors this week and I purchased most of what I need for my BM gifts today so I'm sure I'll be at a standstill soon. I do get stressed about details once in a while but for the most part, it's worrying about having enough for all the vendor payments right before the wedding. I know we will but I worry none the less.

I was just saying this to FH last night... I was counting the number of paychecks I have left and trying to figure things out.. And I know we will be ok, BUT I still freak out over the amount of money that is still owed....

I am so happy to hear I'm not the only person freaking out about the money!

I actually just drafted a new budget for my expenses and since my FH is deployed I'm handling his money too and he's been put on a new budget too!

He keeps telling me things will be ok, but until we have all the money and everyone's paid I'll be nervous.

I feel the same way!!!! I stay awake trying to figure out which vendor gets paid everyweek.... I can't wait until everyone's paid....

Are all of you girls set with the Honeymoon? We are going to Italy but we haven't booked anything yet - I guess we should get on that. How far in advance are you supposed to book a HM? Hmm...

We're probably going to Italy, too! We are waiting until the summer to officially decide. I am not worried about availability b/c it's not high season.

We already booked our HM about a month or so ago. We're going to Hawaii for 2 weeks. We didn't have to book so early but we started to talk to TA's so we could get an estimate on how much it would cost and then just decided to book it and get it out of the way.

My HM is booked - I am so happy about that. Once you girls book your HM - you will probably look more forward to that than the wedding...that's how I am!!! Going to Tahiti for 2 weeks...cannot wait!!!

Wow thanks! Are roses most expensive? I love roses but I many not be able to afford them..I guess I will find out all this info from the florist!

Actually I think the roses are one of the least expensive flowers you can get (@ least that was the impression I got from the florists). My floral quote was much less than most of the other brides on this site and I'm sticking with roses.

** A few kinds of roses are considered rare or exotic and may cost more... but there are so many that don't fall into that category...
