I think I'm on the same 'timeline' as you. I'm going to order my BM dresses and do my invites in May. That's plenty of time, right? I guess I should really get to the makeup and hair. I don't want to wait too long and have them booked (I know who I'm going to just need to book it)!
As for the invites, YES.. Plenty of time.....
The Woman at the Bridal Salon said Late April/ Early May is ok to to order the dresses.. I don't want to push it to much further just in case...

I was told the same thing about when to order my BM's dresses, the end of April early May.
This weeked we will finalize and have the place order our invitations. I am also going to Target to see about programs to make myself. Someone on here said to go to the Clubwed section in Target for this. I am going to take care of this on Sat. Let's see.. ughh.. so much to do!
I want to make my own monogram cake topper with crystals and I would like to start on creating our personalized CD's as favors!

Nope! I have them picked out but we've not ordered them yet. Will do so by the end of next week I hope. It's a Jim Hjelm dress.

I had a trial and booked my makeup artist. I'm having my hair trial in June with my stylist so I have that covered thankfully. Have you looked at all the vendors listed on LIW? You can also talk to some of the makeup artists and the different cosmetic counters because usually they will do weddings as well.

Hi just checking in November girls! I went to Target today in Farmingdale and thye had such cute 'Bride to Be' stuff in the dollar section..
The main reason why I went there was b/c someone on here, said that Target had program paper to make my own church programs.. They only had one type there, I bought them anyway but I am probably going to bring them back and get paper from Michaels or something . Anyone else doing their own Programs?

I have not picked out or ordered BM's dresses yet either....thinking of going with Bill Levkoff Style #301 in choc brown with choc brown sash. We have to see it in person though. I got a price quote on it thru bridaldiscounters.com and can get the dress for only $122! How great is that...highly recommend that site - got dresses for a wedding party i was in thru there and it was great.
Also am still so torn on invites....I am very picky with this and find most I see in person to be so cheesy looking. I just want something simple and elegant with possibly a slight touch of a fall theme to it...so far this is all I like - see picture below. Wow I wasn't planning on ordering the invites so early....do I really need to order in May for a late Nov. wedding??? Most sites says it only takes 6 to 10 weeks to do them and ship them out???
I still have to find a florist - I am starting to feel stressed. I thought i had so much time but you girls are making me feel nervous

Anyone feel like they're at a stand still right now. I feel like I don't have a lot to do. Invitaions I'll do in May but I already know what I want. I know the favors I want but won't get them until Sept/Oct. Everything major is booked besides hair/makeup which I'm waiting until May to start. Everyone seems so stressed lately and I'm the furtherst thing from it. The most I'm stressing about is what color to paint our bedroom and if I should go lighter or darker with my highlights..

I'm still really busy with all the details. I haven't done the dress yet - so that's the main focus. I think I found it, but it's gotta pass the MOM test next week.
The girls just picked their BM dress so we have to get that ordered... then it's only the limo, favors, invites and tuxes.
Then I can breathe for a couple of weeks!

I am at standstill. It's just because I have done all the major wedding things and am busy with work. I am trying to pace myself and I keep telling myself that everything else needs to be done closer to the date, but I still stress. I do need to find a veil soon. I also still have to do hair/makeup/invitations, but I plan on starting that next month.
