The license was super easy. It took us 15 mins.

Same here, did it yesterday afternoon.

Did my sample centerpiece today, Ketubah came in the mail..and ordered BP gifts.

Now I just have to work on music/programs..tie up some loose ends (like all the people who didn't bother RSVP'ing) and (try to) relax!

Yes. Unfortunately it's a big pain. I recently saw a post that the Islip town hall is open till 7pm on tuesdays in case work schedules were conflicting. HTH

ugh only during the week? he works near the hamptons and i work six days a week we live 45 mins from each other as it is. i barely have time to plan a wedding let about get a license

North Hempstead is only open from 9-3:15 M-F

ok so now that is totally impossible he has no days to take off from work.

At this point all RSVPs are accounted for..thank God.
I have gotten so much accomplishe since I posted my 'to do' list last month.

Left to do is:

Make final payments to vendors (this week)
buy gift for one reader--still dont know what to get
DIY programs (65 of 120 done)
music selections
buy garter
buy stockings for wedding day
buy FH's wedding gift
bachelorette party (this weekend)
schedule hair appt for cut and dye
buy crest whitestripes
lose weight....actually that is on my 'forever' to do list.

-Still waiting for all the RSVP's: final date is Aug 22.
-DIY programs for the church
-Meet with RH to discuss menu
-DIY menu's
-Final meeting with DJ, videographer, photographer (payment as well)
-Marriage license
-FG gifts
-Ring bearer gifts
-GM gifts (but this is FH responsibility )
-Final fitting on Aug 25

mom is wrapping favors (wine bottles and stoppers)
Bachelorette party this weekend!
keep my low carb diet and working out going
finalize ceremony draft
call all vendors to confirm times
Buy honeymoon stuff, toiletries, etc.



everything is looking goooooooood!
Cannot believe how the days are flying by now!!!!!!!

gifts for guys, flower girl, ring bearer
make another app. with priest
then make programs
buy more clothes for honeymoon
pay off honeymoon by next week
start making seating chart

Gosh - 24 days from today I will be walking down the aisle - I can't believe it. Time has really flown.

I think all I have left to do is:
- Print programs
- Buy reader gifts
- Confirm Limos
- Meet with photo/video (scheduled for next week)
- Finalize cake (scheduled appt.)
- Buy honeymoon stuff - finalize arrangements
- Buy stuff for OOT boxes and bathroom baskets

I also want to finalize my wedding schedule, tip payment list and I think that's it!
