I just found out my FBIL is writing and singing our wedding song! He's going to write 5 of them and we'll pick our favorite! How cool is that?

FH and I love crossword puzzles (dorky right?) so we're making one with this puzzle software that I found online. We're do it so you don't have to know everything about us to fill it out but the answers will be things that define who we are, what we like etc. They'll be placed at each place setting.

That's cute...not dorky at all.. FH and I are obsessed with Scrabble (my avatar is how he proposed) I wish we could incorporate Scrabble in!!

dont know what happend on my last post.......

i love different things at a wedding i am still deciding on something totally unique

We're just doing the tables as drink names instead of numbers... and then the favors for each table will be a small bottle of the alcohol that goes with that drink name! Other than that... I don't really think much else is that different... we added in the martini bar, and the chocolate, white chocolate and caramel fountains...

Oh and we might do a kinda different first dance thing, but i'm not too sure... we have to work with our band on it...

we're thinking about doing a margarita toast instead of a champagne toast.
we have some cool 'unique' ideas for the guest book (they've all been done before just not in our famlies)
i want to include all our guests at the church in our unity candle ceremony. i have a similar idea if we do sand instead.
i wanted a photobooth but i don't think there's enough room with the guest list we have now.

i want my dog to come but she's not allowed.

i'm sure there will be more when i have more actual planning finished.

There will definitely be a lot of plate breaking and money throwing at my wedding. Also, there's this Greek island tradition where a song is written about me and my FH. The song is sung at the reception - Not sure if we're actually going to do that but it's a possibility.



One of my closest childhood friends is getting married in 2 1/2 weeks and he hired Mr. Met to make a guest appearance at the wedding. Tha'ts pretty different

wow im so un unique!!! im not doing anything 'different'

the only thing that is a little different (i actually got this idea from someone on here!!) we're having the DJ play 'grow old with you' when we cut the cake instead of that 'the bride cuts the cake' song

I guess the casino theme would be something different. We're having casino tables at our cocktail hour and extending it. And, we are naming the tabled after Vegas casinos. Also, considering having the DJ play our parents wedding songs and having them dance to that, not sure yet though.

hahaha thats my FH's dream wedding...i just know i wouldn't see him the entire time lol but thats bc he LOVES gambling. Sounds like fun though

Ohh yeah I forgot abut the money throwing, thats def something different, and I thought of the flower throwing thing like they do at the bouzoukia, so thats kinda cool. I have never heard about the song sung for the bride and groom and Im from an island, but that would be cool as well. Sorry but who is Mr Met????
