I just wanted to say hello to all my fellow Swan Club brides.
How is your planning coming along?

Doing our menu in 2 weeks with Edgar...anyone met this guy yet???
yes, i hated him. i requested for paul to be put back on as my maitre'd (or whatever his title is). i didn't appreciate his demeanor or personality and when i emailed him questions that i had (and seriously needed the answers to) he didn't bother to return those emails until I started complaining but by then my mind was made up, he was out. he is new there and supposedly rather experienced....but i can't see it.

edgar? shocking. when i met him, he refused to tell me the linen color choices, just insisted upon and wrote down his choice. he also would write down what he wanted for our menu instead of what we'd already decided. i still have to go back and repair the things he did!

I would definitely speak with the Trunz's- they're the owers- they would hate to hear that one of their employees is treating their brides badly. Tell them you don't want to deal with Edgar and that you'd prefer to work with Paul again.
We've been dealing with Mike and Jordana, and they've both been great. Jordana told me the standard linen colors are white or ivory. I think they can order other colors if you wanted them. Keep us posted on what's going on and good luck!

I did in fact speak with the owner. Paul was put back on immediately (back then). Ivory is the standard color there because it's the only one that goes to the floor.....BUT you do not have to have ivory napkins...and Edgar insisted on it...turns out that they have a nice selection and we are having red napkins....i wanted something to POP and I got it! I am thrilled. I met with Paul again the other day and couldn't have been happier.

A little review of my wedding.........
The Swan Club was AMAZING! Awesome service. so effiicient and caring. Edgar was awesome and so was our bridal atten Jen.....the cake was so good! I couldn't stop eating it during the cake cutting! I was upset when they took it away from me. Girls you have NOTHING to worry about!

Re: Official Swan Club thread
Hi Guys,
I am a 'newbie', and just started the planning process. I went to the Swan Club this weekend, and FH and I really liked it, however I am a bit concerned about the size of the Contessa Room dance floor. We are inviting 100 people, and even though the room capacity is 140, I just think that might not be enough room? I don't want to have the Garden Room(no offense to anyone that does have it, just not my taste), and the Camelot room is way to big...help!!!! What do you guys think?
Thank You!

we had 160 in the camelot room and i even thought the floor looked small...but it was never 'cramped' though it got 'crowded' with dancers...if the floor is too big, it will look empty even when there are tons of people on it!
Any other helpful hints re: the swan club? I think that is the place we are going to go for, but we are just going to look at one more place.

Re: Official Swan Club thread
Wow, i feel really hurt right now with the Swan Club. I did not have a bridal attendant and I got married on July 3rd. Not to mention our Maitre'D was gone most the time. I'll give my full review when I get my proofs. They just lost another point for that one.
