Official Velvet Studios Thread

Since it seems many of us so far have chosen Velvet Studios, i figured we should start a thread. I think it will be helpful come E-Pic times and of course leading up to the wedding and getting proofs, etc.. Plus any brides considering using Velvet can come and ask our experience with them Thus far.

I know some can't view there site. I can't. So here is there phone number if you would like to meet with them... 631-425-4900.

Wow! Alot of Velvet Brides! I am one too. Where and when do you guys plan on taking your E pics? I wanted to take them at Grand Central Station, but FH works there and he does not want to see co-workers. lol

I haven't booked with Velvet but as far as pics go I'd like to do my e-pics in central park next fall!

I booked with Velvet also!!! I love them!!! Were going to do our e-pics in the spring in central park. Being thats where we got engaged and it was in April.

we decided that we didn't want to cut the parent books altogether, so opposed to the story books we are doing regular slip in albums to save over $1200. We also wrote in the contract that we can upgrade if we choose to later.

you can make them yourself on shutterfly.com
They have all these options for layout etc. and it will cost about $50 bucks a pop.

We plan on taking them next December at Central Park. That is where FH and I had our first date and proposed.

You're the one that gave me the idea of doing them myself!!! And then I saw Chrissynrick (man I hope I got that name right) she made them herself and posted the pics.

definitely!!! i'm unsure about our epics- i was thinking of the beach during the summer, or during the fall in central park

mine too.. he wears socks and sneakers on the beach!! its soo funny he has sock tan lines in the summer!
