Would anyone mind FMing me their Velvet quotes and what was included? We are looking for a bridal album and 2 parent albums, about 100 thank you's and the proofs (would prefer to have them in an album as well) If you have video quotes too that would be great! Also, how much do they require as a deposit?

I met with Bob tonight...and he is awesome!! We were pretty set on another photographer, but after meeting with him, and seeing how much more will be included...we are going to book him! He is low key...nice guy! I am going to call him tomorrow! I am very confident in our decision!

Even though I will go over must take photos and list them, his style pretty much covers it all so I really feel like I have nothing to worry about.

I think it's best to schedule a meeting with vendors than getting random price quotes from other brides. Of course we all want the best for our money but you want to make sure you like working with the person. Especially a photographer who will be following you all day long! Their are different types of albums and such so if you go meet with him you can see his work and products yourself and get an accurate price quote. Good Luck!

Velvet brides .... Are any of you getting annoyed at the comments that the Duet brides are making. I mean if the prices are similiar that is one thing but who is anyone to say that one company takes better pictures than the other. It really is personal preference and how us as the bride want our albums to look. The one thing that annoyed me is that they said that the only reason Velvet is popular on this site is because of us and that we haven't even used them yet. I'm just venting because I see the sa,e post over and over again..

I must have missed that post too!
I met with them because I heard amazing recommendations. I thought that was why Velvet was popular.

Go ro page 12 on the 08 Brides called duet vs. velevt. She says something to the effect that velvet is getting all of its recommendations from brides who haven't used him yet...
