For you ladies who want to cover the mural, what about a nice tulle drapping like the one in the picture. It won't cover it completly but will tone it down!

Never mind didnt see it at first hahaha

Kerri and I did ask a florist about it and it is an option to cover it. i'm wondering if uplighting will just drown it out....i've looked at pictures from weddings there and I HATE that its in every picture from the wedding party annoucements

i added 2 pics in my albums of my make-up trial they arent the best pics but the make-up looks good haha

Using fabric and a stantion...she said she was going there this week and i have a meeting with her next week so we'll see what she says

Hey Ladies,

So I got my hotel block quotes today. Let me know if you think these are good:

HGI- $139/night

HIE- $209/night

The HIE comes with comp breakfast and 1 round-trip 14 passenger shuttle for every 15 rooms.

Wedding is Oct 1, 2011.

dude HGI quoted me 199 today for a Friday night beginning of June....hmmm may have to try to get lower rate! adn they dont provide shuttle!!! ***?

The hilton garden inn ($139) didn't give me a shuttle either. Holiday Inn Express ($209) did.

Hey, Are you sure HIE comes with free breakfast? We are renting out the room for breakfast for everyone and its costing us about $1000!!

Yeah we booked the HGI based on price...i didnt want the guests paying too much money. Unfortunately with that comes no bridal suite and no shuttle. Oh wait, yes they do have a shuttle for AN OUT OF CONTROL PRICE!!!

We are having an OOT wedding so we blocked at both hotels.

I'm probably going to stay at the HGI because of cost. They offer a king room with a jacuzzi that has an adjoining room so I will probably book that one.

Yeah i'll probably book that room as well!!

Thinking about renting out the conference room depending on how big the jacuzzi room is.

if yu guys are looking for somewhere to stay andf get ready there is Dreamers Cove which is a hotel right on teh peconic bay.
they have a 3 bedroom penthouse and i think the rate was afforable. it's super close to VC about 5 minutes away an dwoudl be pretty palce to spend wedding night at

The hotel offers breakfast for everyone on a regular basis. It's on their website. I don't know if it's good thoug. Just bagels, muffins, eggs and bacon.

i know i'm late on this but danielle used uplighting and she said it did NOTHING to drown it out
