I LOVE homeside florist!!! o and i dont think they charge delivery b/c they are like a mile from VC. 2000 for 7 bouquets...7 boutinears (spelling!), 2 mother's corsages, 2 church flowers, 9 low centerpieces, 8 high centerpieces, cake flowers etc.

WOWZA!! Thats a great price! Its funny, kerri and i were just talking about flower budget today and i said i'd like to spend 2k but didnt think it was possible. I'm DEF going to have to meet with them!

Baiting Hollow!!! Thats real close! I thought I was the only one out here haha.

The florist is a friend of the family grandbouquet.com. For photographers I have appointments with Art-istic Images and Spelman. Both referrals from friends who used each for their weddings. Who are you girls using for everything?

I will take tons of pics from the wedding at VC on Friday, I am very excited and feel like a spy almost haha.

Also, I dont know who everyone is using for invitations but my parents own a printing company and have everything! heres their website www.tmprinting.cceasy.com, if you want to price them tell them you are a friend of mine (Tiffany )

Photographer - North Island Photography - AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING, I cannot recommend him enough!!

Limos - I havent booked yet, prob going to look at Camelot with all the rave reviews lately!!

I dont even want to think about invitations, i feel like that is the biggest money waste of a wedding...no one ever keeps them BUT it has to be done hahaha....cant i just send emails and make phone calls? I will DEF keep your parents in mind!! Thank you for that!!

an alternative to this if you don't want to spend the money on the guy actually coming is setting up a table with cigars...dru's buddy that got married there a few weeks ago put a table out during CH with like unrolled cigar leaves as the 'backdrop' and then arranged cigars on the table with cigar cutters and matches...if you stage it properly, it could look really good! plus, i'm sure it's not that expensive to do it that way. if we can't afford the actual roller, we're going to do this.

an alternative to this if you don't want to spend the money on the guy actually coming is setting up a table with cigars...dru's buddy that got married there a few weeks ago put a table out during CH with like unrolled cigar leaves as the 'backdrop' and then arranged cigars on the table with cigar cutters and matches...if you stage it properly, it could look really good! plus, i'm sure it's not that expensive to do it that way. if we can't afford the actual roller, we're going to do this.

Yeah thats what we were thinking about doing. Andy is good friends with a guy that owns a cigar shop in Ronkonkoma so we may just have him come and set something up. Hes making a really cool setup with lights and whatnot.

If you guys are looking for somewhere gorgeous to spend your wedding night check out
Jedediah Hawkin's Inn (in Jamesport) and Dreamers Cove Inn in Aquebogue. Dreamers cove is right on the Peconic Bay.

Tiffany--If my FSIl designed our invites, would your parents be able to print on card stock???

Kedra-Def check out Homeside. They are just a regular florist, not a huge wedding florist. They are located on the corner of 105 and 25 in Riverhead. I met with Andrea. She was really nice. If you bring in pictures she'll be able to come up with something. I know one person who used them for a fall wedding and they did nice arrangements. Nothing over the top but definetly pretty. We've used them for a lot of family stuff over the years and have never been disapointed.

Lela they def can! The can get you a price if you want, I dont know how expensive something like that would be but they do it all the time! a G2G sound fun!

For the Holiday Inn Express the rooms were $209 and the shuttles we are still negotiating so I cant give you too much info on that.

I am dreading hotel blocking. I dont know if anyone is even going to need a room b/c my family is in Southold and FH is in brookhaven. We do have OOT relatives coming but they will be probably staying with family.

I would love pocketfold invites but can't imagine spending so much money on invitations that someone is going to throw away.
I guess my invites will have a few pieces:

Inside envelope (one of the women I work with is goin to do the calligraphy I think?)

Response envelope---printed with our return address
Response card
Directions to church card
Maybe an accomodations card????

we were quoted $209/night for the Holiday Inn Express and $129/night for the Hilton Garden Inn.

We booked at the HGI.

Not sure about the shuttle situation since we plan on using the north fork trolley

I'll start looking into florists after I pick my dress and really get an idea of the direction I'm going in with the look of the whole wedding. I'm so petrified though because I have a tiny budget! I think I only need bouquets, boutonnieres (just FH and GM), and centerpieces. I'm going to skip large arrangements (we are getting married at VC so no church to decorate, and I'll make a fake arrangement for the escort card table aka piano!) and will prob skip corsages, I don't think our moms will really miss them.
I really think the florist will laugh when I say no roses and here's my budget.
Will book transportation when we have a better idea of how many ppl will need a shuttle.

Did anyone think about renting a house w family? FH's dad and stepmom have us looking at rentals for them (they are in Phili). They will prob rent for the weekend w FHs brother and SIL and some other family. There are some really nice houses and I'm jealous they are going to have such a nice place to get ready in!
