Hi all 2011 Brides! I'm Kelly FH is Frankie and........ (drumroll) We're getting married!!! OCT 8,2011 We just booked the RH - Venetian Yacht Club ... so any VYC brides feel free to FM with any helpful info. I have just recently started looking at LIweddings and have only just begun contributing. I definitly feel like a newbie so many things on here confuse me. But im Getting the hang of it. I wanted to formally join the crew! I think that this forum is such an amazing resource!
How does one find out about things like the bridal shower and the ornament swap? Also, im so interested in attending TWOTY but am not sure how I'll ever get to 100 posts in time. Thank you all so much for your guidance and support.

My advice to you to keep up with the fun stuff that goes on it to STALK this website! .....and 100 posts sounds scary, but it happens so fast!
I've learned so much from these ladies so far....they're helping me enjoy every moment of this planning process!

Welcome!!! Two days before me! In order to get more posts, some of the girls post surveys that you can fill out to get more posts. Venetian Yacht Club is gorgeous. The plants in their gardens are from FH's garden center where he works.

As for stuff like the shower and ornament swap, basically it's by keeping your eyes peeled. those two things were organized by the brides here and we talk about it openly on the forum

Congrats!! I'm getting married at the VYC too! I LOVED it from the minute I looked at pictures online haha..and I loved it even more when I went there!
I'm getting married in October too--10/21
I haven't really done much there other than book the venue....I haven't really even thought about the menu, if I'm doing uplighting, what extras I'm definitely getting, etc....
