Officially losing my mind...

I just had to share with you ladies that I think I have officially lost my mind...I went shopping at Kohl's this morning and was running very late for the Yankee Game with FI. I practically ran out of the store through my clothes in the back seat and got in the PASSENGER seat of the car and actually sat there for a few minutes before I realized that 1 - I was alone 2 - that I looked pretty stupid sitting in the passenger seat of my car. So like a dope - because you know everyone is watching in my mind - I start looking through my glove compartment as if I actaully meant to get in the wrong door of my car, realized how stupid this was, got out and into the drivers seat and drove home.

Pelase tell me that at least one of you has done something this silly over the time of planning your wedding - because I think I've gone nuts....

LOL NovBride!! I don't have any 'I've lost my mind during wedding planning' stories, but here's possibly the dumbest thing I ever did:

My mom was making chicken cutlets, and since her hands were full of chicken, she asked me to shake the breadcrumbs until she told me to stop.

I stood there for a full 15-20 seconds, with the lid on the breadcrumb canister, shaking the darn thing, waiting for her to say stop.

She finally stared at me and asked what I was doing. 'Shaking the breadcrumbs,' I answered.

'ONTO THE CHICKEN CUTLETS!' she said.

It never occurred to me that there was no good reason to shake up breadcrumbs in the canister...

That was a good one!! I do silly things like that when I'm in a real hurry too - It happens. Cute little story - really made me smile!!

I do nutty things all the time.

when FI and I started dating I was cleaning up after dinner (he cooked me dinner) and I guess the butter fell into the sink and I didnt realize it and he swears I was going to wash the butte

I put the blinds on fire with a candle. It was a tall candle and I pulled the blinds up but I guess the heat got to them and they warped started to melt and burn.

I wanted roasted marshmellows so I bought a bag of marshmellow's and used my fondue fork and a kitchen lighter (ya know those long lighters you use to light the stove or BBQ) and made roasted marshmellow's.

I was in a major rush to get dressed because as always i was running late to go someplace and forgot to put underwear on. I realized it when I saw them lying on the bed and I had my pants on.

I have probably done more silly things I Just cant think of right now.
