Officiant

Do you think $450 is a reasonable price for an officiant? We've been procrastinating on this and I really haven't shopped around.

It's high. Ours is $500. But, from the second I spoke to him, I knew we had to have him.

So, if you love the person, go for it. You're going to remember him or her for the rest of your life!

ETA: It's high is just my opinion. There are a lot of things I think are high that might be average, this being one of them. I think it's a lot of money to spend, but, it may be average for all I know, I didn't shop around.

I got quoted $450 too. but i didnt shop around yet either so I have nothing to compare it to so far.

Thats about the average quote... Although my RH suggested one to me and I called him... I am going with him, he is so sweet and I just love him!
He is only 250.....

We are spending $475 because its Valentine's Day weekend....but it was totally worth it in my opinion...Pastor Mike is great!

Thanks ladies! I guess I should shop around a bit. I did for everything else like crazy, but I guess I'm getting lazy now. I'm tired of planning...I just want the wedding to be here already!

I got quote of $475. I am still shopping around for prices as well, but I think us liking the person would be the most important thing.

Wow----I didn't know an officiant was so much $. My ceremony is going to be like 5-10 minutes. (Do you? I do. Do you? I do. Kiss the bride.)

After going through this whole wedding process, if there is such a thing as reincarnation, in my next life I am going to be a priest, DJ, photographer or florist.
