I am having the ceremony at the catering hall. Who do you guys recommend to be the officiant? Its a non-denominational ceremony and I don't want it to be corny or to expensive. Who is good at personalizing the ceremony?

Sorry I can't help with the 'not expensive' part... unfortunately.
We have a wonderful officiant who personalizes the ceremony and is non-denominational, but his price is the same as everyone else I contacted for this service... $750.
It still makes my stomach turn that it's costing so much, but there are some expenses you just have to deal with.
I'm sure you can find someone less expensive with a little more time and energy, though -- good luck to you! If you want our person's name, FM me.

I'm using Dr. Janine Burns from ilovetodoweddings.com. She was $550. I've heard great things about her!! And she's a pleasure to deal with. FM me if you want more info.

I am using Rev. Keith Gugliuzza. So far we LOVE him. When we met with him, FH and I felt like we were sitting down for coffee with a friend, not interviewing an officiant. And his rate is a LOT lower than what has been mentioned above. He will do as religious/non-religious as you want ... we want completely non-religious and that is what we are getting. He's fabulous!

We are using Judge Corbet... hes an LIW vendor, but more important to me me married all my friends. We r paying 375...id never pay more then that. jmo

Is there someone close to you that you would want to conduct the ceremony? A co-workers close friend got ordained online, and was able to be the officient at their wedding.

you can try ABeautifulAffairoftheHeart.com They have a bunch of officiants and personalize the ceremony. The fee is $475. and Rev Lewis works with you to create the ceremony you want.

Pastor April! She will personalize your ceremony anyway you want it to be done. She is so sweet, and everyone loved her. There was not a dry eye in the house at our ceremony.

YES!!!! Keith is SOOOO GREAT!!!!! I highly recommend him.
