How do you pick an Officiant? I dunno where to start with this haha

We found ours through recommendations and through LIW. We met with a couple rabbis and priests/monsignors before we made our decision...

I've been on this site for a while and noticed a few officiants that girls rave about and saved the names. I just spoke with one of them (Pastor April) on friday over the phone and she was really sweet and answered any questions I had. She is also recommended by my RH which I didn't know when I contacted her so I was comfortable that she's familiar with the space.

She's holding our date and we are meeting with her in a couple of weeks to see if we hit it off in person as well but I don't see any issues that may come up.

My friends started by asking around, then they talked to the poeple on the phone and they said they could kinda tell who would work by talking to them.
