Officiant
Hey ladies! We decided since we aren't very religious people that we were going to have a family member get ordained to become a minister. This family member did get ordained online but is there anything else that I need to know?? Lol I feel like it was too easy. I googled it and it says in NYC that anyone who gets ordained has to register with the town as an officiant. But I can't find anything about the Long Island area! Any help would be appreciated!
Ps - 11 days :))

Re: Officiant
I could totally be wrong, but my officiant told me that NY State doesn't recognize 'online' ordained officiants. Here is something I found with the law. I really don't know much about this so don't take my word for it, but I would just research it a bit more.http://www.ulc.co/new-york-state-marriage-laws-a-31.html
