I am Jewish/Italian/Catholic and my fiance is Protestant and Catholic. We are not religious at all, but we are very cultural. I want an officiant that would let us pretty much direct our own ceremony. I would like our close cousins to do most of the talking at the ceremony. The person that legally performs the ceremony should either be a spiritual leader of some sort or maybe a judge or mayor. He or she should be someone who is willing to get to know us and of course have a great sense of humor. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you so much!

Re: Officiant for Non-Religious Wedding
I think you can't go wrong with either Pastor April or Rev Deb Viola. They're both LIW vendors. Check out the TWOTY video.

We are using Mike Cassera and he guides you through putting together your own ceremony. He is very easy to talk to and funny.

I agree... We booked Pastor April on the spot when we met with her. She sent us a personalized ceremony right away and we loved it. It really captured what we wanted in our wedding. Pastor Deb is also wonderful and they often back each other up in case of emergency. You can't go wrong either way.

Pastor April - she will REALLY get to know you. And you don't have to call her Pastor, she is fine with just April

FH and I heart Rev Deb She's a very nice person and will give you exactly what you want / need.
Not sure if you were at TWOTY or not, but she was the officiant at that
