So, we called one Rev.... he was recommended from a few of the RH's we visited, they said he was great. I called and I got a really nice feeling from him... I'm just so worried b/c he doesn't meet with you before the day, he does EVERYTHING by phone calls. We are not religious but plan on incorporating some religious & spirituality, and we heard that he was VERY good at that (Rev. Vincent Sica)
Please this is something that I'm really freaking out over!

I highly recommend Pator April. She is a sweetheart. We met her at her house for almost 3 hours to do the ceremony. Now we go back and forth via email and phone. She is awesome to work with.

Thanks ladies... it's so funny, I spoke with one Rev, and I kinda got a good feeling during the convo, but it's like the more I think about it the more I really feel NOT comfortable. I am actually really freaking out about it.

That is weird. Most meet with u at least once. We are using rev Laura Tria. She said she would meet with us as much as needed. She works out of her house in Bayshore.

I called our officiant and then we immediately scheduled a meeting. He met us at a Starbucks for what was supposed to be like a half hour meeting.....we were there for 2 hours and the only reason we left is b/c they were closing! We felt sooooo comfortable with him and that is why we booked him.
He may be a very nice man but IMO I would not hire a vendor unless I had met them in person. Not saying anything about anyone who does, I just wouldn't.
Maybe if you tell him you WANT to meet with him.....he will.

We met with Rev Deb and she is amazing. We sat with her and told her our story and she is going to incorporate what we said about eachother into the ceremony. I would feel more comfortable meeting in person then via the phone.

my brother n sis in law were married by rev sica five years ago.. he was great .. i can ask them if he met with them beforehand if ya want =)

We met with him and booked on Monday. He was soooooooooooooo nice. We felt so comfortable with him and loved everything he had to say. We meet with him 2x b4 the ceremony.

We booked with him too. He is really great FH and I both really liked him. We actually booked with someone else first. Who canceled on us for personal reasons. It was actually better for us because FH and I were both having regrets about the first guy, but he came highly recomended so I thought maybe I was just being silly. IMO you should go with your gut. If not you are going to be thinking about before the wedding and you don't need something extra to stress about.
