Officiant - HELP

Officiant - HELP

I don't have an officiant yet and I'm supposed to have someone to marry us in 7 months (9/3/05)! I looked at the handful on LIWeddings Officiant vendor page, but none are rocking my boat. Any suggestions? It's going to be a non-denominational wedding. AM I REALLY BEHIND? Thanks!!

I used Rev. Janine Burns.
She did a great job on our non demoninational wedding.
I felt it was very meaningful and personal.

I don't think you are too abd at this point. But you could also give Joan Psotto a call at 516.621.6409. She will do whatever kind of ceremony you'd like - she is an interfaith minister.

maybe get a town judge if you are not looking for a religious ceremony, I ahve bene to a few with judges officating and they were nice

You are not late because I don't have one yet but I have an appointment with Pastor Mike and Rev Phil. I am also looking for a non religous ceremony

We used Reverend Callahan and he was fantastic. He did everything we asked and did a wonderful ceremony. I would highly recommend him.

My MOH just got married and used April at the Church of Ancient Ways. She was unbelieveable. It was a completely non-secular wedding.

If you want a NON religious officiant, Just pick up a bar association book and look for the judges. Judges who are still seated on the bench can all perform ceremonies and can only charge $75.00. Plus, if you dont like the vows they supply, most are open to any suggestions you have

We also used April for our wedding and she was great. I still get compliments about the ceremony.

Wow, thanks everyone for your suggestions! Reverand Callahan sounds like someone I'm going to look into. I'll let you know how it goes. I miscalculated in my post...just realized today I have 6 months. Oops! You guys are so kind for offering your help.

i used canor cohen he was a vendor on here but i do not see him anymore on the list so iw ould have to go back in my paper's to get his number and stuff for you but he was great! he did a wonderful job and had some really nice peices to chose from and let us put stuff in that we liked of our own (we included my daughter by ways of the family madalon*spelling sorry) if you would like any more of his info just fm me and i will get it for you. good luck!

We used Renwick Jackson, non-denominational. his website

He was excellent--people are still commenting on what a great job he did.

We booked Pastor Mike like 4 months before our wedding. We went to see some of the other listed on here and we felt Pastor Mike had the most personality. He was extremely nice and organized an delivered a great ceremony!
