We are getting married at the RH and FH wants a Catholic ceremony. I'm already aware it won't be recognized by the church and that's fine by me.
Can anyone recommend an Officiant? We met with one person and he was 'OK' if we had to use him, then fine. But I feel like the ceremony would be pretty boring - he didn't have a lightness about him - does that make sense?

I've seen Susan Marlan do several ceremonies and she is fantastic... If I needed an officiant, I'd be using her... her web site is interfaithceremonies.com

I know exactly how you fell my Fh was raised catholic and I wasn't but we still wanted to incorperate his religion into our wedding . Our reverend suggested we do a few catholic prayers in our ceremony. His name is rev. McBride he was very nice . He was recommended to me by my RH. Fm me if you want his info. Hth! ;)

I haven't used her yet but I did meet her a few years ago and totally agree about the soothing voice.

Fr. Brennan did our cermony at the RH. it was a simple cathloic ceremony. He let us add and take away what we wanted.

We were married at the RH and DH and I are Catholic. We used Rev Deb Viola and she was amazing. She will include as much or as little about religion as you like. Our guests are still raving about her!!

My sister used Father Tom McCormick, a former Catholic priest. (I'm not exactly sure what church he is affliated with now). He was very good.
I'm using Keith Gugliuzza from New York Marriages.
