Has this REALLY killed the budget for you ladies. THE PRICES are ludicrous !!!!!!! We are only talking 20min here!!!!!!!!

If ANYONE knows of an officiant under $300 PLS FM ME. We are only talking 20min here!!!!!!!!

One way to save the $$ if you really don't mind is to have a close family member or friend be ordained for the day and perform the ceremony themselves.
Ive seen it on tv's For better or for worse and have heard about other people doing it.
However i dont know if it counts for New YOrk State or how much it costs....its just another option

so we picked a church today, it is a small church in greenpoint (just the way I like them)... the priest was very nice and funny, we do have to sign up to be parishoners but thats no big deal since we plan to start attending church more regularly... but the costs omg $400.00 could be more beginning next year, $100.00 for the organist (so I will probably go for other kind of musicians)... but anyways, happy to get another thing done

we are using pastor mike from nesconsett christian church. he will make it as religous or non religous as you want.
it is costing us $300.

Mine is $250.00 - not much cheaper but his name is Judge Louis Ohlig and he's a great guy - very funny. He's in North Port and works out of the the Riverhead Courts.

the prices are ridiculous considering that even if you have a full mass it wont last more than 1 hour

update - my priest told us last month its $550!!!! It was $450 but since we are not part of the parish its more. For 20 minutes!!!!! I can have 2 services for the price of my flowers for Petes sake!

They said we didnt have to if we didnt want to. We decided not to because then we have to send a weekly offering on top of the $550!

really? the church gave us an option if we want the envelopes for the donations or not, so they dont waste money printing envelopes if we wont come every week... I guess all we really have to pay is like $30.00 each year...
