For those of you using officiants such as the vendors on here and have never met them before booking them.
Do you have to send them an invitation to your wedding? Do you plan on having them as a guest or do they leave after the ceremony?

Since the officiant is FILs family friend, we are personally going to invite him the next time we talk to him.

We asked the officiant if she would like to join us for the reception. She was thankful for the invitation and said she might stick around for a few minutes into the CH but then she's gonna bounce. We're having an afternoon wedding so if I were her, I'd want to get out of there too and enjoy the rest of my day!
