Oh and another 'EH' check

FMIL ordered RD invitations.........the problem.....I don't like them.....she thought they were 'perfect' because we're doing a bbq RD. AND she didn't have the actual rehearsal info on them! She only had the info for the dinner part put on them

I wouldn't care as much whether I liked them or not... but the information should def be on them

OOOOOO, I don't like them! when did she order them? maybe she can change the wording to put the church info on it. . . . or you can print up a insert with the church info.

Please, don't get me started. I sent her this email (keep in mind, I don't like them, but I'm not going to go crazy because she's paying for them and it's not like they're going out to everyone):

It's cute :) Of course the names, times, dates etc have to be changed, and we also need to put the info for the rehearsal itself on them.

Then I get this response:

Too late on that one, I ordered them this afternoon. Names and dates have been changed but you'll have to contact everyone about the rehearsal time. Sorry, I wanted to make sure we had them in enough time.

So why bother even asking me if you already ordered them????

oh boy. there is a good chance that they were not printed today - you should be able to have the wording switched. . . . they are not that bad and you are having a bbq

she tried to do a good thing by ordering them, but.... not crazy for em.
maybe just email everybody or send an insert with em???

I think the idea of the BBQ invite is cute but it definately needed the rehersal info on it. What is the use of sending out invites without all the info on it and you still have to call these people to give the rest of the info.

i think the invite itself is cute... but i would have been pissed that they didn't have the correct info on them!

that's why i took it upon myself to order the RD invites even though my FIL's are paying for the RD. i shelled out the $16 on vistaprint for the invites and i didnt care lol.

I mean I think when people see it is a BBQ no matter what they assume it's informal. The wedding is the formal part!

Other than that they are okay, obv the info has to be correct so maybe put an insert with them?

That's her way of being able to say that she asked, but me not really having a choice to begin with.

This is why I don't let other people do things, lol.
