Seriously - these churches really need to talk to each other and get their beliefs straight - FH and I WANTED to do a full mass but our priest told us no - that our church will only perform masses for those couples they see at church every Sunday. So annoying.

I am so sorry!! These posts make me so sad, because aren't priests supposed to be all forgiving and all understanding?
Honestly, he should be happy you're a young married couple getting married in the church! There aren't that many young people involved in the church these days...
ITA--I am so sorry you are going through this too. It seems like the few of us who are trying to get married in a Catholic church are so stressed with them. They really should be happy that we want to get married there. I really think they are turning a lot of people off to the church with the way they are acting. I am so upset about my church too.
