Oh.. another animal question

So.. I have a doggie.. right? Right.

BUT.. I now have 2 stray cats and a kitten that came and made a home in my backyard. My mom saw them one day and made noises for them to leave and the 2 adults did but the little kitten just stood there staring at her. Aww.. no, no aww. My mom said that the kitten started hissing at her and made a motion to scratch her. That's not aww.. ESP since my dog is a freakin' wimp! This kitten can totally beat him up and that can't happen.

SO... is there anything that I can do to get these cats out of my backyard?!?!?!?!
Plus they poop and pee all over the backyard and then my stupid doggie goes around and rolls in it.
(He's freakin crazy but I love him)

That would be great but they like to wander around during the day and I only see/hear them at random times.

coffee grounds. it works really good on raccoons and opposums.. cats either love it or hate it.
