Oh Boy, I feel like a huge Dumb@ss!!

Sooooooo i'm sure alot of you know that i've been having 'issues' with FH's side of the fam. Yesterday there was the thing with the invites and the whole 'Us having to buy FMIL a plane ticket to come to the shower' and blah blah. Well, FH talked to FFIL yesterday and it turns out that they finally sold one of their houses and are paying for our Rehearsal Dinner and Favors.

I feel like a mean, horrible FDIL for complaining. I think somehow I got all caught up in the planning and being selfish about 'MY WEDDING' this and that and I forgot that other people might have their own issues going on.

Shame on Me.

I applaude you for knowing that you made an 'opps!' It is ok!!!

Some point or another we all get wrapped up in the planning.. dont worry! and YAY! for them paying some bills for you!

No, no, no.....dont beat yourself up over this....we all get very involved in our weddings and sometimes lose sight of other things going on....It's the recognizing it that shows that you are not so consumed with it....if you had not felt bad, then that would be a different story....I am glad this worked out for you....how nice!!

Don't beat yourself up over this. Sounds like a little miscommunication. Everyone sounds ok so that is a good thing.

Don't kill yourself...at the time you had a legitimate gripe..especially about the invitations..(that's the post I saw)...

But things seemed to work out for a reason....maybe this is exactly what was supposed to happen to slap the reality check on ya for being upset about the 'money issues'

it happens to all of us... i thought my FIL's were from another planet.. FH agrees to a certain extent as well.. but they pull these random complete selfless acts of kindness that makes me wanna jump outta my skin for thinking 'bad' about them..

and i told my mom and she goes it's all about being part of the family.. growing pains i assume..

Awww thank you so much ladies. You're making me feel so much better lol After FH told me, my stomach kinda just was in a knot. I was like...i am a jerk. I think i'll have to treat FMIL to a mani/pedi before the shower. *guilt*

True, thanks lades. All good points made. Sometimes I just expect people to act or do things the way I would do them and it's really not fair of me. I'm workin on that with FH too, he'll tell me just because he didn't do it the way I want, doesn't mean he didn't do it the best he can. I always think i'm right. lol

FH asked where I want to do RH and I told him, ANYWHERE THAT WOULD MAKE FFIL HAPPY!
